OpenSea To Not Support Forked NFTs

NFTs have been a huge question with the Ethereum merge coming up.

In a recent twitter thread from OpenSea, they claimed,

"First, and most importantly, we are committed to solely supporting NFTs on the upgraded Ethereum PoS chain."

"While we won't speculate on potential forks - to the extent forked NFTs on ETHPoW exist - they won't be supported or reflected on OpenSea."

OpenSea has also made it clear that they do not think there will be any issues that may occur during the Ethereum merge.

Aside from OpenSea, there has also been several other firms that stated they are all in on the PoS Ethereum merge transition, such as Chainlink & LooksRare.
