What Is the Thrive Power Score?
The Thrive Power Score (TPS) is a single 0–100 composite that measures the overall strength and conviction behind an asset's current market position. It answers the question: “If I could only look at one number, how strong is this setup right now?”
TPS fuses eight distinct market dimensions into a weighted composite. Each dimension is independently scored, then combined using regime-adaptive weights — meaning the formula automatically adjusts based on current market conditions.
The Eight Dimensions
| Momentum | Trend strength and direction based on ADX, directional indicators, and regime classification. |
| Derivatives | Funding rate positioning, open interest dynamics, and liquidation pressure across exchanges. |
| Smart Money | Institutional and whale accumulation/distribution patterns from on-chain flow analysis. |
| Volume | Volume conviction relative to historical norms — are moves being confirmed by real participation? |
| Sentiment | Social engagement, crowd sentiment, and the divergence between different sentiment sources. |
| Structure | Technical structure including oscillator readings, moving average alignment, and divergence confluence. |
| On-Chain | Blockchain-level health metrics including holder behavior and exchange supply dynamics. |
| Macro | Macroeconomic tailwinds or headwinds from dollar strength, volatility indices, and institutional flows. |
Grading System
| S (80–100) | Extremely strong setup. Multiple data sources confirm high-conviction conditions. Rare — appears in fewer than 10% of readings. |
| A (65–79) | Strong. Most indicators aligned with clear directional conviction. |
| B (50–64) | Moderate. Conditions are decent but not compelling — proceed with normal position sizing. |
| C (35–49) | Weak. Mixed signals across dimensions — caution warranted, reduce exposure. |
| D (0–34) | Very weak. Significant headwinds across multiple dimensions — either a warning or a contrarian opportunity depending on TAS and TRP. |
Reading the Component Breakdown
On the asset detail page, TPS includes a visual breakdown showing each dimension scored from 0 to 100. This lets you see exactly which factors are driving the score. A high TPS with a weak Smart Money dimension, for example, tells a different story than a high TPS with a weak Macro dimension.
